Garden Hopper's Afternoon
A shaded, low-exertion tour through a cluster of campus gardens — roses, herbs, and butterflies, all within a few minutes' walk of each other.
This is the gentler option for a warm, storm-watch day: duck between garden beds and shaded paths as you move from the herb-scented Kitchen Garden to the fragrant Beall Family Rose Garden and its water feature, then the Adaptive and Enabling Garden, ending at the Butterfly Garden. Plenty of tree cover and benches mean you can pace yourself and shelter quickly if a shower passes through.
