Devil's Bridge Sunrise, Oak Creek Sunset
Bag a bucket-list red-rock arch before the clouds build, then spend the afternoon cooling your feet in Oak Creek.
Get an early start out of Flagstaff so you're on the trail to the bridge while the morning sky is still clear — this is exposed slickrock, so you want to be off it well before any afternoon rumble. From there, drive over to the creek for a long, lazy cool-down in the cold water, which is exactly what you'll want once temps push toward 89°F. If the sky stays friendly late in the day, a flat streamside stroll caps things off; if it doesn't, you're already at a shaded, low-exposure spot to wait it out.
